Due to significant growth within this portfolio, our client is now seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Brand Manager to drive the growth & profitability of this exciting brand.
Charged with reinforcing brand position & equity through the development & execution of innovative brand marketing strategies, you will ensure consistent brand identity and value to consumers within a highly competitive category. You will drive the profitability of the category by building brand strategies to win consumer share of mind & basket, and develop new products locally whose collective perception is based on a positive consumer experience that exceeds expectations.
Responsible for delivering annual volume, share and profit targets, you will initiate the creation of, and recommend brand strategies for each brand to deliver strong profitable growth. You will ensure appropriate media selection to surround consumers, whilst developing & managing the execution of brand activities including communication, campaigns and media planning. Working closely with sales account team, you will ensure alignment of sales and customer promotion plans.
Utilising strong consumer insights to ensure brand strategy optimises market potential, you will identify & develop long term opportunities within the market place and prepare plans to develop, test and launch new products to capitalise on them. You will monitor competitor strategies and communicate with all key stakeholders (internal & external) on a regular basis to keep your brand top of mind.
Possessing a minimum 5 years FMCG Brand Marketing experience, you are a commercial, confident and engaging marketer with a career punctuated with delivering growth. With demonstrated competencies in strategic brand development and leadership of cross functional teams, you have a high level of NPD experience from concept inception to launch. Strong interpersonal & communication skills and proven brand strategy, budgeting and financial management experience will be paramount to your success in this role.
Tertiary qualifications are essential.
