National Manufacturing Services Manager

A fantastic leadership opportunity has arisen to join an FMCG business that is renowned for making fresh quality food products that are enjoyed throughout Australia. Currently going through a period of significant investment and transformation that will drive profitable growth and innovation, an opportunity has arisen to manage manufacturing nationally and take a lead role in driving national operational improvement.

Reporting to the General Manager with direct reports located across five states including all Site Managers, this is a strategic role were the focus will be on driving best practice manufacturing as well as managing the capital and continuous improvement program across multiple sites.  You will oversee day to day operational resources and be required to deliver SOP?s across manufacturing to help create a more structured and visible manufacturing process.   You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, with a big focus on cultural change in conjunction with the National Supply Chain Services Manager and the relevant Site Manager to reduce cost and improve quality and OHS.

The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified with significant manufacturing experience ideally gained in the FMCG industry. You will have a track history in driving best practice manufacturing programs and have managed continuous improvement initiatives. It is essential you have the vision to develop the broader manufacturing strategy, along with the energy and passion to drive outcomes in a complex matrix structure.
