G. VBScript/Powershell Senior Support (S37)

My client one of Australia's leading online organisations is currently looking for an experienced Senior Systems Support Analyst with .NET Application skills to join its Inner West Sydney offices

The successful candidate will join an extremely fast-paced, motivated and innovative team  delivering ongoing support in a Windows Server/.NET Environment

The main responsibilities of the position will be;

• Deployment management of web-based multi-tiered applications to multiple environments
• Attend to IT Support Operational issues and resolutions
• Plan, design and perform system maintenances
• Identify approaches that leverage existing resources and provide economies of scale
• Take ownership of deployment issues and Production Environment uptime, and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
• Research and recommend innovative ongoing improvements to software configuration management processes as well as to build/deploy processes and whenever possible, automate all approaches

In order to be considered for the position you will have;

• Solid experience in a server environment troubleshooting, configuration and administration
• Be highly proficient with Powershell/VBScript and Remote Deployment Scripts
• The ability to debug, step through and analyze .NET 3.5 Application code when required
• Experience in complex applications and third party system integrations
• Exposure to managing web farm environments
• Hands on experience with operational processes in mature and large organizations
• 4-6 years experience in a Systems Administrator/Build Master experience
• Hold a University degree in Computer Science or Software related fields
