In this role, you will act as the 2IC managing the core team within the AML & Sanctions team, prioritising demands from stakeholders and businesses. You will ensure that the AML/CTF program is current and updated in line with any changes to the AML/CTF legislation or rules, resolve compliance issues and work with senior managers and stakeholders to develop business understanding of AML and sanctions compliance issues, not just in Australia but on a global stage.
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications, a strong understanding of the banking environment and key business drivers of operations. Your proven track record in financial/risk management, leadership and experience in anti-money laundering, sanctions, or financial crime matters will be key selection criteria.
