Our client is recognised as a leader in the provision of specialist disability employment services. We are currently seeking a commercially astute and industry experienced General Manager – Corporate Services to join our progressive, innovative and community focused team.
Reporting to the CEO, you will form an important part of the organisation’s executive management team. The purpose of this position is to provide executive leadership to the company whilst identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities as well as supporting the implementation of the organisation’s corporate and strategic plans.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the disability employment services sector at a management level. You will require extensive knowledge of Government tender and funding submission procedures as well as have experience in the management and development of Government tender bids. Your commercial acumen will mean that you can analyse and interpret technical journals, financial reports and legal documentation as well as have the ability to harness business and research opportunities. It is desirable that you are highly proficient in accounting and software applications as well as having demonstrated experience operating within a corporate governance framework. You will be required to develop, implement and monitor strategic and financial plans. You will also be required to manage and lead the administrative, HR, IT, Finance, Training and Compliance teams to attain specific organisational objectives and key business performance measures. You will have a genuine ability to provide management leadership with proven success in this dynamic and intensely performance driven environment.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
•Manage the development of multi million dollar Government tender bids and funding submissions across the company;
•Provide leadership and support in the development, implementation and monitoring of the organisation’s corporate and strategic plans;
•Manage, implement and monitor the financial plan and oversee the organisation’s finance team;
•Manage and oversee the organsiation’s IT, communications and management information systems;
•Manage and oversee the organisation’s HR and IR systems;
•Manage and continuously improve the organisation’s quality assurance framework;
•Oversee the organisation’s internal training systems and manage the company’s training division as well as all external training programs for the RTO and flexible learning divisions;
We are looking for a driven and commercially astute General Manager. To be successful in this role you will need to be a pragmatic, innovative and experienced management professional. You will have exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills as well as strong time management and organisational skills. You will be a dedicated and motivated manager with real passion for the industry sector. You will need to have the ability to foster and sustain relationships with a diversity of stakeholders and be a genuine leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
It is desirable that applicants possess relevant tertiary qualifications.
Remuneration is negotiable based on applicant’s qualifications, skills and experience.
