Oceania Area Finance Director

About The Position

    As the Oceania Area Finance Director for one of our largest Service Lines, you will be the primary financial counsel and strategic business advisor to the Service Line Leadership Team.

    Reporting directly to the Oceania Area Chief Financial Officer with a dual report to the Oceania Service Line, your responsibilities will include:

    ►Provision of strategic and timely financial advice, leadership and recommendations on financial issues affecting the line of business.
    ►As a member of the Service Line leadership team, participate in the development of the Service Line’s business plans and programs.
    ►Lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the Service Line in line with both Oceania and Global expectations and timelines. Ensure compliance with top down cost controls and profit growth guidelines.
    ►Monitor and report financial results against budgets, goals and historical performance, and identify opportunities to improve results. Provide recommendations to the Oceania Service Line leadership team to enable forward-focused decision and actions.
    ►Liaison between the financial organization and the line of business personnel. Act as a line of business advocate for resolving disputes, setting standards of performance, and obtaining maximum efficiency from this effort.
    ►Direct and lead the finance team at the Service Line level to deliver an effective and efficient finance support services.

    To be considered for this key leadership role, you will have tertiary finance qualifications and extensive experience in a similar finance management role within a large professional services environment or a complex corporate environment, along with proven experience in strategic analysis and financial modelling. You have strong people management skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across various teams which will ensure your success in this role. Postgraduate qualifications are also highly desirable.
