About The Position

  1. Futurestep, a Korn/Ferry company, is a global leader in strategic talent acquisition and management solutions. Futurestep partners with AGL Energy, Australia’s largest integrated renewable energy company, to attract, assess and select the best talent for their customer service centres around Australia.

    Futurestep is currently seeking a ‘hands-on’ manager to work with AGL in Adelaide and lead recruitment for this division nationally. Critical for success will be experience in contact centre recruitment, but more than that we seek someone passionate about this space and driven to do it the best way it can be done!

    This is a leadership role and an opportunity to be the driving force behind the continual evolution of strategy and execution that will ensure AGL’s contact centres are equipped to meet their talent requirements head on.

  2. • Strategic and operational management of the contact centre recruitment function nationally – stakeholder engagement, team management, and recruitment execution

    • Scheduling and leading assessment centres with a continuous improvement focus; some travel to facilitate assessment centres interstate

    • Continuing to build understanding of the AGL business, its environment and its changing talent requirements

    • Responsibility for weekly and monthly reporting on recruitment activity

About The Person

  1. • A track record of success in recruiting for high volume roles; experience in assessment centre methodology and process improvement preferred

    • Energetic and motivating with demonstrated experience in team leadership and all aspects of people management

    • A client centric, process-driven, highly organised and detail-oriented approach to work

    • In-house experience as well as tertiary qualifications in a business or HR related discipline will be well regarded
