Q. What is the screening process?

Six Figures is a niche site catering for job seekers who are currently earning or capable of earning a salary in the AU$100,000 package range. Six Figures' staff check résumés and member profiles to ensure that only those whose salary is commensurate with the jobs advertised can apply for positions.

Q. How is my information private?

When you create your member profile, your details can be viewed only by those advertisers to whom you give permission. No members have access to any other member's details.

Q. What if I can't find the jobs I am interested in on the site?

The site is relatively new so the job type range is limited. But it is growing and every week we are listing more and more jobs directly from employers, as well as selected RPOs and agencies. If there are no jobs available for you in your industry or occupation, please revisit the site later.

Q. Is Six Figures for me?

Six Figures has been designed to cater for high income earners across all industries and professions.

To join, you must earn a minimum salary package of AU$100,000 (STG£50,000). As an example, a package could include an $80,000 base, plus 9% superannuation of $7,200 and a car allowance of $12,800, equally $100,000.

Six Figures is for you if you are interested in:

If you're currently making, or have made at least $75,000 in the past, our site is a great place to further your career aspirations.

Six Figures will not be a good resource if you're currently earning less than $75,000 or don't want to take on the responsibility of a $100,000+ job.

Q. What services does Six Figures offer?

The Six Figures website offers an exclusive and more extensive online service than any other site. Six Figure job seekers are offered more upfront information about jobs and the businesses offering those jobs. This information includes minimum salary, information about employee shares, options and bonus schemes. The Six Figures’ site is user-friendly so it's easy to search for and apply for positions.

Q. How do employers find me?

As a member, you can search for jobs and apply for the ones that interest you. If you elect to be headhunted, we will also contact you direct about job opportunities. Overall, only those employers with whom you apply for a job will be able to see your details, so you always maintain control over who sees your information and who doesn't.

As Six Figures is not a recruitment site, it will never send your CV out to employers with the hope of making a 'sale'.

Q. How do I contact employers?

Some employers will post their contact information on their job advertisement, in which case you can contact them yourself. Other employers will ask that you apply for the job opportunity via the site. In this case, after applying, you will be contacted by the employer. We also compile shortlists of members for certain positions and pass their details to employers, but only after members have given their approval.

Q. How does Six Figures protect my privacy?

We know that your identity must be kept confidential. Six Figures adheres to strict professional and ethical guidelines. Your career details will be treated confidentially and used only with your consent. Should a member choose to have their details given to a prospective employer, that employer is bound, as part of our terms and conditions, not to pass on the information.

Q. How long does it take to register on Six Figures?

You can spend as little or as much time as you wish to set up your profile. If you don't have much time, you can complete the process in a few minutes, simply by attaching your CV. To help us match you with suitable jobs, the more comprehensive your profile the better. Log in and you can update or add to your profile at anytime.

Q. I'm not currently looking for a job. Why should I join Six Figures?

Up to 40% of people who start a new job will be looking again within a year. Most people change jobs every 2-4 years.

Six Figures caters for passive job seekers as well as those actively pursing employment. Many people find themselves in a position where they wish for a change of direction or to develop new skills. Whatever the reason, Six Figures provides a useful means of keeping in touch with the job market in a convenient, professional and discreet manner.

Q. What about the jobs? Won't I find the same jobs listed elsewhere?

Some employers might advertise some of their jobs on other sites. However, Six Figures offers you a greater depth of information about jobs and, as jobs are listed for only one month, you will know they are current.

Q. Can Six Figures help me to change my job function or industry?

If you are a high salary earner who'd like to try something a bit different and are confident you have the skills and abilities that will enable you to make the change, Six Figures is ideal. In your member profile you can highlight your skills and attributes and sell yourself beyond your résumé.

Q. How do I know what I'm worth?

If you are unsure of how much you could realistically expect to earn in today's job market, tell us your current occupation and years of experience or send us your CV. Alternatively, call us and we will be able to guide you. All enquiries are treated with the strictest confidence.

Q. How do I change my email address?

You can change your email address within your account on Six Figures. Simply log in and click on the "My Account" main navigation tab. Then click on "Change My Details" secondary navigation tab to update your details. Please note you will be sent a confirmation email to your new email address and your details won't be updated until you click the confirmation link in that email.

Q. How do I get jobmail alerts?

You can set up job mail alerts based on specific search criteria from your account. This option is located in the Saved Searches & Job Mail section of your account.

Q. How can I get a free résumé appraisal?

A free résumé appraisal is one of the many benefits of premium membership. Once you have signed up as a premium member you can submit your résumé via the Résumé Appraisal link.

Q. How can I get a free CEO Online subscription?

After registering as a premium member you can subscribe to CEO Online free of charge from within the Member Offers area.

Q. How can I access the Directorships area and Board opportunities?

Six Figures premium members who are interested in being contacted about potential Board roles can manage their Director Profile in the Directorships area.
